Brian Jolliff | ProDesign LLC
Delivering on a Promise

Do you have your own business with a website that needs updating? Have a business but no website? Need to promote a cause, design a logo, or perhaps a brochure? All of these tasks can be handled by local business owner, Brian Jolliff and his company, ProDesign, LLC - serving the various graphic design and web hosting needs of many local business owners right here in West Virginia.

Brian graduated in 1994 from West Virginia University with a degree in graphic design. After a few years as a graphic artist at a Morgantown newspaper, he relocated to Martinsburg, with wife, Debbie, in 1997. Seeing an opportunity to advance his interests and his degree into a full-time job, Brian elected to start ProDesign LLC. Being new to the area initially made for a slow start, but with a supplemental job at the Buyer's Guide that turned to full-time, he soon developed the contacts and name recognition required to jumpstart his business. Today, with over sixteen years of print design experience and thirteen years of web development experience, the company is a success and ready to meet any and all design needs.

The typical clients that Brian encounters and serves are small to medium local business owners looking to put their company on the web for the first time, or those looking for a fresh update on their current web design. Current clients range from Sunfire Patio in Martinsburg, to a flower distributor in China. Many clients are based right here in West Virginia, but he also works with customers out of Florida, California, and Michigan. Web design is not just for small business owners however; Brian will help you create your vision on the web for a variety of things - a cause, a book promotion, a blog - the list goes on. No idea is too big or too small!

What else does ProDesign do? Not only can Brian present a basic information website, but he can also present a comprehensive and detailed business space - complete with pictures, manuals, or brochures of all products being sold. If space on the Web is all that is needed, the company also provides web hosting - in effect, buying space on the Internet for the website. Finally, he also does print design. This ranges from business cards, logos, postcards, in-store handouts, even invitations of any kind. So, why should a potential client choose a local company rather than going with one of the bigger guys?

"My overall mission is that I pride myself on delivery of what I promise to my clients, on time. This mission is a reflection of how well we have been able to retain clients over the years."

Personal service is what ProDesign delivers. Going with a local company ensures that when the inevitable problem arises, there is a live and local person there to handle it. There are a few contractors doing specific tasks for him such as CGI programming or system administration, but it is largely the work of Brian that keeps the business humming. He is the sales director, marketing coordinator, accountant, designer, and chances are, he will more than likely be the one to take your business call!

Brian loves being in business for himself, as it has allowed him to deviate from the standard 9 - 5 job. He is free to be creative and does not have to report to a larger company or boss.

"I wear a lot of hats and it can be difficult to manage everything, but conversely, this is also what allows me to serve my clients better. If a client has billing issues, I am ready to handle it. I don't have to pass it on to someone else."

Life isn't all business for Brian though. One of his favorite current projects is his collaborative effort with other WVU football "fanatics" to push for Noel Devine to receive the Heisman Trophy at the unofficial www.votefor7.com. Aside from his family and his business, Jolliff considers football to be his "third job" and is passionate about incorporating his love for design with his love for football.
